Teltex develops decision superiority platform for disaster management

A new technological platform for decision superiority is being developed to improve response capabilities during natural disasters. Led by Teltex, a defense technology integrator, the project aims to provide organizations with the ability to act faster and with better information than the evolving crisis allows.

The initiative stems from research conducted by Captain Roberto Farina, a spokesperson for the São Paulo Civil Defense, following the devastating 2024 floods in Rio Grande do Sul. Farina’s research, completed through a master's program at ESPM, highlights the critical need for structured knowledge management to prevent the loss of both explicit data and tacit experience during emergencies.

By transforming individual field experiences into institutional assets, the project seeks to serve government agencies, defense forces, and corporate leadership. This approach addresses the high economic costs of recent disasters, which reached R$ 88.9 billion, with 69% of those losses impacting the productive sector.
