Tembilahan house fire destroys residence in Indragiri Hilir

A house fire destroyed a residence on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan, in the Indragiri Hilir Regency on Thursday night, September 10, 2026. The fire, which occurred around 7:41 PM WIB, affected the home of M. Doni Kurniawan.

A joint task force including the Fire and Rescue Team, BPBD Indragiri Hilir, TNI, Polri, and other rescue units were deployed to the scene to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading to neighboring buildings. While the structure sustained significant damage, the exact cause of the fire, the total material losses, and whether there were any casualties are still being investigated and recorded by the relevant authorities.
