A man broke into a technology company office in Tempe, Arizona, stealing dozens of empty Mac mini boxes while leaving the actual computers behind. Security footage from the incident, which occurred around 2:00 a.m. on October 4, shows the suspect smashing a window at a business park near University Drive and State Route 143.
Rather than entering the building fully, the individual reached through the broken window to grab armfuls of Apple packaging. Employee Curran Rose reported that the computers were left sitting on desks, untouched by the thief.
The company has filed a report with the Tempe Police. The business owner is offering a $1,500 reward for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the suspect.
