Tempi Mayor Giorgos Manolis attends Samarina celebrations

Tempi Mayor Giorgos Manolis attended religious and cultural celebrations in Samarina, Grevena, on August 16 to mark the feast of the Panagia. The event included a Hierarchical Divine Liturgy led by the Metropolitans of Grevena, Elassona, and Larissa and Tyrnavos.

During the festivities, Manolis participated in the traditional ‘Tsatsou’ dance, a significant cultural custom in the Samarina region. The Mayor emphasized the importance of preserving local traditions and cultural heritage to maintain community bonds and pass identity to future generations.
