Temple wearable pre-orders launch in India

Temple, a health technology startup founded by Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, has commenced pre-orders for its new wearable device in India. The device is listed at ₹85,000 during the pre-order phase, with bookings opening at 9:30pm IST via the company app and official website. Global pre-orders are also scheduled to open across different regions, with an expected delivery timeframe of approximately three months.

Designed for elite athletes, the wearable utilizes medical-grade adhesive to ensure skin contact and minimize movement jitter. The company claims the device outperforms major competitors, including the Apple Watch Series 12, Garmin FR970, and Oura Ring 5, in heart rate tracking precision during high-intensity training. A key feature of the device is BrainFlow, which tracks physiological metrics such as cerebral blood flow and oxygenation.
