Tempo di Poesia Festival returns to Marsala

The second edition of the Tempo di Poesia Festival is scheduled to take place from September 25 to 27 at the Complesso Monumentale San Pietro in Marsala. Organized by the EtiCOlogica Association, the event is centered around the theme ‘Il corpo è poesia’ (The body is poetry).

The festival program includes poetry readings, meetings with contemporary female poets, creative writing workshops, artistic performances, slam poetry, and activities for children. A specific focus is placed on female poetic writing, exploring how the female body is perceived, lived, and narrated in literature.

As part of the programming, a monograph curated by Chiara Putaggio will pay tribute to the Sicilian storyteller Rosa Balistreri, examining song as a tool for social protest and collective voice. Artistic direction is provided by Vinziana Rizzo Parisi.
