Temporada Alta festival announces 35th edition in Catalonia
The 35th edition of the Temporada Alta performing arts festival has been announced, scheduled to run from October 3 to December 8. The festival will feature 91 shows and 21 coproductions across 21 stages in nine Catalan municipalities, including Girona and Salt. With a budget of 3.153 million euros, the event maintains its focus on international connections, Catalan creation, and Ibero-American artists.
The international program includes 16 shows from 11 countries. Notable participants include Romeo Castellucci, who will present ‘Faust. Fet, no dit’, and Belgian choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui. The festival also features four absolute premieres from foreign companies, including Peeping Tom and Needcompany. Six specific proposals are dedicated to connecting the region with Ibero-America, featuring artists from Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, and Cuba.
