Tempsens Instruments shares debut at 111% premium on Indian stock exchanges

Tempsens Instruments, an Udaipur-based manufacturer of thermal engineering products and specialized cables, made a significant debut on the Indian stock market on August 28, 2026. The company's shares listed at a substantial premium, opening at ₹634 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and ₹631 on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), representing a premium of approximately 111% over its ₹300 issue price.

The initial public offering (IPO) saw high investor interest, with the issue being subscribed approximately 184 times during the bidding period from August 20 to August 24. The ₹650 crore public issue consisted of a ₹95 crore fresh issue and an offer for sale (OFS) valued at ₹555 crore.

As India's largest temperature sensor manufacturer, Tempsens Instruments reported strong financial growth leading up to its listing. Between FY24 and FY26, the company saw revenue, EBITDA, and PAT compound annual growth rates of 27.2%, 35.2%, and 28.2%, respectively. The company also maintains a significant global presence, with exports accounting for 28.5% of its FY26 revenue.
