Filippo Bisciglia's record‑breaking Temptation Island finale draws 4.2 million viewers

The 2026 edition of the Mediaset reality Temptation Island closed with a record‑breaking finale on 29 July, attracting 4.247 million viewers and a 35.5 % share – the highest in the programme’s history. The season averaged 3.970 million viewers with a 31.33 % share, and the show’s official social‑media channels amassed about 700 million views. Pier Silvio Berlusconi called the broadcast “a great televisive and social event”. Host Filippo Bisciglia, who has led the show for twelve years, faced criticism on social media for perceived bias, with users accusing him of “talking too much” and “defending the girls”. After a two‑month contractual blackout, all fourteen contestants returned to Instagram and TikTok, posting selfies, thank‑you messages and personal updates. Bisciglia announced a one‑man theatrical show, Prima della prima – Il mio viaggio nei sentimenti, debuting on 13 November in Turin, and said he is ready to host a studio‑based game show in the future.
