Temptation Island 2026 launches on Canale 5 with seven couples and new singles
The new edition of the Italian reality show *Temptation Island* began broadcasting on Wednesday 24 June 2026, airing in first‑hand primetime on Canale 5. Hosted by longtime presenter Filippo Bisciglia, the series returns to the Calalandrusa Beach & Nature Resort in Calabria for its setting.
Seven unmarried couples – ranging from a six‑year partnership to a 16‑year relationship – are separated for 21 days and live in two villages alongside 26 single participants (13 male “temptatori” and 13 female “tentatrici”). The format keeps its core premise: couples face temptations, confront doubts, and ultimately decide at the final “falò” whether to stay together or leave the show. Bisciglia hinted that this season’s cast is the youngest ever, with the oldest male contestant aged 32, and promised especially emotional moments that may make viewers reach for tissues.
Additional details released in press interviews note that the production installed an extensive camera system to capture every interaction, and that a backup indoor set is ready should weather affect outdoor confrontations. The programme runs for eight episodes, with the first episode scheduled at 21:30 on Canale 5 and streaming available on Mediaset Infinity.
