TEMSA reaches 26,000 bus production milestone with electric Avenue Neo

TEMSA has reached a manufacturing milestone with the production of its 26,000th bus, an electric Avenue Neo model. The company celebrated the event with employees under the motto ‘Everyone has our signature on 26,000 buses’, during which staff signed the vehicle coming off the assembly line.

The Avenue Neo is a 9-meter electric bus designed to provide the features of a 10.5-meter vehicle on a more compact platform. It has a 75-passenger capacity and offers a range of up to 600 kilometers with high-capacity battery options. The vehicle can reach a 100% charge in 75 minutes using a 300 kW DC connection. All battery packaging, software, and development processes for the model are handled by TEMSA engineers.

TEMSA CEO Evren Güzel stated that the company’s vehicles have traveled over 10 billion kilometers globally. He noted that the Avenue Neo incorporates technology and experience derived from the MD9 Electricity architecture, which has surpassed 5 million kilometers of testing in diverse climates ranging from Sweden and Lithuania to Spain and Turkey.
