Temu and IACC launch dedicated intellectual property protection program
Temu and the International AntiCounterfeiting Coalition (IACC) have expanded their partnership through the launch of the IACC-Temu Program. This voluntary initiative is designed to provide IACC member brands with a streamlined process for escalating complex intellectual property (IP) matters and supporting proactive enforcement on the Temu platform.
Under the new program, member brands can use the IACC Global Portal to escalate pending notices, seek reviews of responses, or appeal rejected notices. The initiative also allows brands to submit keywords and images to help Temu identify and mitigate potential infringements before they are officially reported.
Participants will engage in quarterly check-in calls with both organizations, receive detailed feedback on escalation submissions, and access periodic status reports. IACC President Bob Barchiesi noted that the program follows discussions with Temu Co-Founder Dada Sun and stated that early results for member brands have been positive.
