Temuco Diocese Reunites Ten Parish Choirs After Years of Hiatus

After a multi‑year pause, the Catholic Diocese of Temuco organized a diocesan choir gathering on 1 August. Around ten parish choirs from communes such as Traiguén, Collipulli, Angol, Nueva Imperial, Lautaro, Temuco and Labranza convened at the Temuco Cathedral for a day of formation, music and prayer.

The event began with a fraternal breakfast, followed by a series of liturgical performances, a training session led by Father Haroldo Zepeda, and concluded with a Mass celebrated by the diocesan bishop. Organisers highlighted the role of choral singing as a form of prayer and evangelisation, urging participants to continue serving the Church through music.
