Temuco hosts major Latin American cultural and musical events
The city of Temuco is hosting significant cultural events focused on Latin American heritage. The musical group Illapu is continuing its “55 Años – Historia Viva” national tour, with a performance scheduled for October 8, 2026, at the Teatro Municipal de Temuco. This follows a sold-out start to the tour in Puerto Montt.
Additionally, the ninth edition of the Encuentro de Danzas Folklóricas Latinoamericanas will take place on October 16, 2026, at the Teatro Municipal Camilo Salvo. Organized by the Agrupación Folklórica Carlos Condell, the Liceo Carlos Condell de la Haza, and the Municipality of Temuco, the event will feature over 200 dancers from various communes in the La Araucanía region, presenting choreographies inspired by diverse Latin American cultures.
