Temuco students complete tourism and heritage training cycle

Students in Temuco participated in a lecture series titled “Turismo, conciencia y territorio” (Tourism, awareness, and territory). The training involved 32 senior high school students from the Liceo Bicentenario Técnico Profesional Centenario and the Instituto Superior de Especialidades Técnicas de Temuco (ISETT), specializing in tourism and hotel services.

Organized by the Directorate of Tourism, Heritage, and Culture, the program aimed to provide an integral view of tourism, emphasizing territorial development, heritage appreciation, and sustainable practices. The training included a municipal city tour to familiarize students with local attractions. Participants received diplomas during a ceremony attended by municipal authorities and representatives from Sernatur Araucanía.
