Ten Yamasaki to star in new drama ‘Death (Youth) Game’

The cast for the upcoming TV Asahi drama ‘Death (Youth) Game’ has been announced. Scheduled to premiere on September 5, 2026, the series stars Ten Yamasaki of Sakurazaka46 in her first leading role.

The story follows Akane Ochiai (Yamasaki), a high school student who, unable to accept the sudden death of her best friend Chiaki (Hinako Kikuchi), becomes involved in a dangerous ‘death game’ designed to uncover the truth behind the death and seek revenge against certain teachers.

Supporting cast members include Kodai Fujimoto as Sosuke Murase, Kanato Yoshizawa as Toru, and Yuta Hayashi as Yuta. The ensemble also features Ryo Ikeda, Umika Kawashima, Makoto Ashikawa, Yuri Ogino, and Yu Kamio, portraying teachers and other figures involved in the mystery.
