Tenby Market Hall redevelopment plans advance

Pembrokeshire County Council is moving ahead with proposals to revitalise the historic Tenby Market Hall. A recent public engagement event attracted residents, traders and businesses, whose feedback is being incorporated into the emerging designs.

Early discussions with market traders have been held to showcase concepts and gather input before the public release of proposals. The project received a boost from Shared Prosperity Fund investment, enabling the next stage of detailed design work. While the timeline remains indicative and funding is not yet fully secured, the council plans to publish design drafts in the coming weeks and will seek further public comment through a questionnaire.

Council members emphasized that community engagement will remain central to the process, aiming to deliver a regenerated market that reflects local priorities and sustains the historic building for future generations.
