Tencent-affiliated studio reveals Ordinary Oddness RPG
COSMICPUP STUDIO, a developer affiliated with Tencent, has officially unveiled its new open-world RPG, ‘Ordinary Oddness’ (also referred to as ‘Project Human Oddness’). The game is set in Elysian, a floating city above a sea of clouds where humans and supernatural entities known as ‘Fushigi’ coexist.
A 22-minute gameplay demonstration was released, showcasing the game’s Unreal Engine 5 visuals and its 3D action combat system. The gameplay features mechanics such as character switching, parrying, and dodging. Players take on the role of a special investigator tasked with handling requests and solving mysteries within the city.
The title is currently in development for PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Official pre-registration has commenced via the game’s website and Steam page.
