Tencent and SenseTime launch new professional AI image models

Major Chinese technology firms Tencent and SenseTime have released new professional-grade generative AI image models.

Tencent has launched the Hunyuan Hy Image 3.5 preview, a high-cost-performance model supporting text-to-image and image-to-image capabilities. The model can output resolutions up to 2K and supports multi-turn dialogue for continuous editing. According to reports, the model is priced at 0.15 yuan per 2K image via Tencent Cloud API, making it one of the most cost-effective options among mainstream models. Internal testing indicated a 30% improvement over its predecessor.

SenseTime has released the official version of its SenseNova U1 Pro model. This model is designed to produce high-precision visual assets, supporting resolutions up to 8K and various aspect ratios. It utilizes an endogenous interleaved text-image chain of thought to generate content that combines accurate information with professional visual design, suitable for architectural renderings, infographics, and diverse creative scenarios.
