Tencent Cloud Drive enters beta testing with AI integration

Tencent has launched beta testing for its new AI-powered cloud drive, positioning it as an intelligent storage solution designed to connect multiple AI applications. The service aims to aggregate data generated by various AI tools into a unified storage system, creating long-term, reusable data assets.

The platform features four core capabilities: unified storage for AI-generated files to serve as a foundation for agents like WorkBuddy; seamless connectivity with tools such as WeChat Work and Tencent Meeting to maintain task context across different devices; built-in intelligence for automatic file classification and summary extraction; and enhanced security leveraging Tencent Cloud infrastructure to ensure data is only accessed within set permissions.

According to the official website, the cloud drive service is included as part of the WorkBuddy membership, offering integrated storage, organization, and AI calling capabilities under a single subscription.
