Tendam brings Cortefiel and other brands to Romania
Spanish fashion group Tendam is expanding its presence in Romania by bringing three of its brands to the Rivus Cluj-Napoca development project. The expansion includes the debut of Cortefiel in the Romanian market, alongside Springfield and Women’secret. The three brands will occupy a combined area exceeding 1,000 square meters.
Tendam, which is majority-owned by the Abu Dhabi-based Multiply Group, is Spain’s second-largest apparel group. The company manages 13 brands and operates over 1,800 points of sale globally. This move follows the recent opening of Springfield and Women’secret stores in Iulius Town Timișoara.
The Rivus Cluj-Napoca project is a 550 million euro investment developed by Iulius and Atterbury Europe. Spanning 14 hectares, the complex features over 142,000 square meters of retail space and is designed to integrate shopping with cultural, educational, and sports facilities. The development has already reached an occupancy rate of approximately 80%.
