Tenebris Somnia horror game released with pixel and live-action visuals

The new horror game Tenebris Somnia has officially launched on platforms such as Steam. Developed by Andrés Borghi, Tobías Rusjan, and Saibot Studios, the title distinguishes itself through a unique visual style that blends retro 2D pixel art with live-action full-motion video (FMV) sequences.

Inspired by classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill, the narrative follows a protagonist named Julia. While visiting her filmmaker ex-boyfriend, Ivan, Julia becomes trapped in a parallel universe filled with nightmares and monsters. The game features approximately eight hours of gameplay and utilizes practical effects in its live-action scenes to enhance the atmosphere of obsession and supernatural horror.
