Tenerife hosts fashion design contest and new cultural event series

Tenerife is hosting several cultural initiatives focused on emerging talent and community connection. Televisión Canaria will broadcast the 15th International Young Designers Tenerife Moda contest this Sunday, showcasing creators from various countries including Mexico, Venezuela, and Indonesia. Efraín Medina, the Counselor of Employment, Education, and Youth for the Tenerife Council, noted that the event serves as a platform to transform creative vocations into professional projects and foster entrepreneurship.

Additionally, the El Talentón festival has launched ‘El TardeÓN by Moona,’ a new series of themed musical and cultural events. The cycle will begin at the Espacio Moona within the Museum of Nature and Archaeology (MUNA) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The initiative aims to connect artists, DJs, and entrepreneurs through participatory experiences, starting on October 10 with a Latin music session.
