Tenerife hotels mark milestones in tourism and gastronomy

The Gran Hotel Taoro has celebrated its first anniversary since reopening, marking a significant revival for one of Tenerife’s most historic luxury establishments. Originally opened in 1890, the hotel has re-established itself as a social and tourist hub, creating 140 direct jobs and an equal number of indirect positions. Its culinary offerings have gained international recognition, with the Michelin Guide 2027 including the hotel and its restaurants, LAVA and OKA, among its recommendations.

In the south of the island, the Hard Rock Hotel Tenerife is marking 10 years of operation. Since its opening in 2016, the Palladium Hotel Group property has influenced the Playa Paraíso area by diversifying local commerce and gastronomy. The hotel has hosted over two million guests from more than 130 nationalities and has seen significant growth in the MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and events) segment, which accounts for approximately 10% of overnight stays.
