Tenerife man critically injured in accidental rooftop fall

A man was critically injured after accidentally falling from the roof of a house in the municipality of El Tanque on Tenerife. The incident occurred around 11:00 AM on Saturday, leaving the victim unconscious.

Due to the severity of the injuries and the distance to the hospital, the Servicio de Urgencias Canario (SUC) deployed a medicalized helicopter alongside an ambulance. Medical personnel from the Icod de Los Vinos health center provided initial first aid to the victim, who suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

After being stabilized by the combined efforts of local paramedics and the helicopter's medical team, the man was evacuated by air to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias, where he was admitted in serious condition.
