Tenerife motorcyclist airlifted to hospital after serious crash

A 39-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured following a fall on the TF-82 highway in the municipality of Santiago del Teide, Tenerife. The accident occurred on Saturday, October 10, at approximately 10:19 AM near kilometer 20 of the road.

Emergency services, coordinated by the CECOES 112 of the Government of the Canary Islands, deployed a medicalized helicopter and an ambulance to the scene. After receiving on-site medical assistance and being stabilized for various serious traumas, the man was evacuated by air to the Hospital Universitario de Canarias (HUC).

The emergency response involved the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC), the Civil Guard, and Local Police. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
