Tenerife PP mobilizes 119 million euros for public housing

Lope Afonso, president of the Tenerife People's Party (PP), has highlighted the mobilization of over 119 million euros to expand public housing on the island. The initiative aims to increase the residential park through the promotion of protected housing and the acquisition of land and buildings.

Key actions include the acquisition of four buildings to add 72 homes to the public stock and the purchase of land for 67 new units. Additionally, various projects are underway to construct more than 660 protected homes across several municipalities, including Arafo, La Victoria, Santiago del Teide, El Sauzal, Granadilla, and El Rosario. Afonso stated that the party has mobilized resources to provide more than 1,200 housing units during the current mandate.
