Tenerife real estate manager under investigation for 16,000 euro fraud

The Guardia Civil is investigating a man for an alleged fraud involving the purchase of a property in Tenerife. The suspect reportedly received 16,000 euros as a deposit for a home located in the municipality of La Guancha.

The victims contacted a real estate agency via social media and, after visiting the property, signed a deposit contract and transferred the funds. However, the sale was never finalized, and attempts to recover the money have been unsuccessful. Investigations revealed that the funds were transferred to a bank account held by the manager of the real estate agency. The case has been presented to the judiciary for further proceedings.
