Tenerife rental market shows significant price disparities by municipality

Rental prices in the province of Tenerife are seeing significant variations across different municipalities. According to September 2026 data from Idealista, the provincial average stands at 15.3 euros per square meter, representing a 4.5% increase compared to the previous year.

Icod de los Vinos has been identified as the most affordable municipality for rentals, with prices at 10.4 euros per square meter. Other relatively affordable areas include La Orotava at 11.4 euros/m², Los Realejos at 12 euros/m², Santa Úrsula at 12.1 euros/m², and San Cristóbal de La Laguna at 12.7 euros/m².

In contrast, prices are considerably higher in the southern part of the island. Adeje reaches 19 euros per square meter, while Arona sits at 18.9 euros per square meter.
