Tenerife sports clubs announce key player moves for 2026/27 season

Several sports clubs in the Tenerife region are finalizing their rosters for the 2026/27 season through key player renewals and new signings.

In basketball, De Morro Fino Cantbasket 04 has renewed the contract of shooting guard Jonathan Jorge. Jorge, the team’s top scorer during the 2025/26 season, averaged 18.4 points per game and will continue with the club for a second consecutive year. Additionally, Iberia Toscal has announced the signing of Yoel Páez, a forward arriving from CD Salesianos Tenerife to add intensity and experience to the squad.

In women's football, Costa Adeje Tenerife has promoted midfielder Noelia Salazar to the first team for the 2026/27 season. After a standout campaign with the B team in Primera Federación, where she played every match and scored seven goals, Salazar has secured her place in the top-tier squad.
