Tenerife, the largest island of Spain's Canary archipelago, is a favored vacation spot, especially for Portuguese tourists. Key attractions include the historic town of La Laguna, the Teide National Park with its volcanic landscape and observatory, the coastal villages of Masca and Los Gigantes, and popular beaches such as Las Teresitas and the black‑sand shores of Adeje.
