Tengah to receive new bus services in October 2026

New bus services are being introduced to improve connectivity for residents in Tengah under the Land Transport Authority’s Bus Connectivity Enhancement Programme.

Starting October 25, 2026, Services 873, 873M, and 874 will begin operations. Service 873 and 873M will operate on alternating trips from Tengah Bus Interchange. Service 873 will connect Tengah to Bukit Gombak, Hume, and Hillview MRT stations, while the shorter 873M route will link Tengah to Bukit Gombak MRT and Bukit Batok Street 52.

Service 874 will provide a direct loop between Tengah Bus Interchange and Choa Chu Kang MRT, passing through Brickland and Choa Chu Kang town centre. These services aim to reduce the need for multiple bus transfers for commuters traveling between these residential areas.
