Tenggarong employee burns Rp2 billion meeting room

An outsourcing employee, identified by the initials MFA (24), allegedly set fire to a meeting room at the Kutai Kartanegara Regency Communication and Informatics Office (Diskominfo) in Tenggarong on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

The incident reportedly occurred around 07:20 WITA. The motive behind the arson is linked to workplace bullying; MFA was allegedly targeted by colleagues who took his photo without permission, edited it, and circulated it as WhatsApp stickers for mockery.
