Tengkurus-Lahanas road upgrade in Sabah reaches 81.4 percent completion

The upgrading of the 12.4-kilometer Tengkurus-Lahanas Siba-Lahanas Sokid road in the Kadamaian constituency has reached 81.4 percent completion. The project, valued at RM61 million, is intended to improve connectivity and support economic activities for thousands of residents in the Tengkurus-Lahanas sub-district.

Sabah Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Industrial Development, Entrepreneurship and Transportation, Datuk Ewon Benedick, inspected the site during a visit to large-scale projects in the Kadamaian area. He noted that the roadwork is one of five major road upgrading projects currently being implemented in the constituency to fulfill the Kadamaian Development Master Plan 2020-2035.

Following a second extension of time (EOT2), the project is now scheduled for full completion in July 2027.
