Teni challenges Tiwa Savage to a boxing match

Nigerian singer Teniola Apata, known as Teni, has challenged fellow artist Tiwa Savage to a boxing match. The challenge was issued via a social media video in which Teni discussed the earnings of Nigerian entertainers and the luxury lifestyles of male colleagues.

Teni suggested a potential N1.5 billion purse for the bout, questioning how much artists would need to earn to afford luxury vehicles like a Bugatti. In response to the challenge, Tiwa Savage posted a brief comment telling Teni to “Pick a date”.

This exchange occurs amid a growing trend of celebrity boxing in Nigeria, specifically through the “Chaos in the Ring” series organized by Balmoral Group Promotions. Recent participants in the series include Phyna, Nkechi Blessing, Portable, and Charles Okocha.
