Tenisha Warner honors late actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner on his birthday

Tenisha Warner, the widow of actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, held an intimate at-home celebration to mark what would have been his 56th birthday. Following a family tradition, the tribute included their 9-year-old daughter, MacKenzie, and was surrounded by the daughter’s dolls and stuffed animals, which the late actor had always requested as part of his birthday guest list.

Warner shared her grief on social media, noting that the family is struggling to navigate life without him. The actor passed away at age 54 following an accidental drowning in Playa Cocles, Costa Rica, while on vacation with his family. His cause of death was confirmed as asphyxia due to submersion.

In addition to the personal tribute, reports indicate that a legal settlement regarding Warner’s estate is underway. Most of his trust and assets are expected to be transferred to his daughter, MacKenzie.
