Tennessee basketball voted fourth in SEC preseason media poll
The Tennessee men’s basketball team has been voted fourth in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) preseason media poll. This marks the seventh consecutive year the Volunteers have secured a top-four preseason ranking, a streak that leads the conference.
Florida, Texas, and Arkansas were selected as the top three teams in the poll. Tennessee’s ranking places them ahead of Alabama, Vanderbilt, and Kentucky in the preseason projections.
Individual honors included Tennessee guard Juke Harris, who was named to the Preseason First Team All-SEC. Harris is the only newcomer in the conference to receive this distinction. He joins Rueben Chinyelu of Florida, Thomas Haugh of Florida, Josh Hubbard of Mississippi State, and Tyler Tanner of Vanderbilt on the five-man first-team list.
