Tennessee football adds five non-conference games through 2031

Tennessee football has finalized several non-conference matchups, extending its known schedule through the 2031 season. The additions include five games scheduled across five different upcoming seasons.

Between 2028 and 2031, the Volunteers will host Chattanooga (twice), Bowling Green, UT Martin, and Austin Peay. Financial details indicate that Chattanooga, UT Martin, and Austin Peay will each receive $550,000 per game, while Bowling Green is slated to receive $1.3 million for its 2029 appearance.

With these additions, Tennessee's 12-game regular season rosters are now full for the 2026 through 2029 seasons. These rosters consist of nine SEC games and three non-conference matchups annually. The 2030 schedule currently includes two non-conference games, and 2031 has its first scheduled matchup.
