Tennessee holiday attractions feature Memphis trees and Smoky Mountain lights
Tennessee is preparing for the 2026 holiday season with various festive attractions across the state. In the Memphis area, locations such as The Peabody Memphis offer traditional displays, including a 30-foot Christmas tree and an annual Gingerbread Village scheduled for unveiling on November 27. Other notable areas for holiday viewing include Collierville, Germantown, and parts of Mississippi.
In the Smoky Mountains, the 37th annual Smoky Mountain Winterfest will run from November 6, 2026, to February 15, 2027. The celebration features more than 15 million lights spanning a 25-mile corridor through Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and Sevierville. While Pigeon Forge’s primary displays conclude on January 31, Gatlinburg’s Winter Magic program continues through February.
