Tennessee Lady Vols hold preseason media day

The Tennessee Lady Vols women's basketball team held its annual preseason media day at Pratt Pavilion ahead of the 2026-27 campaign. Head coach Kim Caldwell participated in media availability and one-on-one interviews to preview the upcoming season.

During the event, Caldwell provided a positive update on forward Fatmata Janneh. After previously being sidelined in a boot during a scrimmage, Janneh has returned to full practice participation. Caldwell highlighted Janneh’s rebounding and defensive capabilities, noting her potential to be one of the top rebounders in the SEC.

The Lady Vols are scheduled to play their first exhibition game against Florida A&M on October 27 at the Food City Center.
