Tennessee linebacker Jaedon Harmon sidelined for 2026 season with ACL injury
Tennessee linebacker Jaedon Harmon is expected to miss the entire 2026 season after suffering a torn ACL during a fall camp practice. The sophomore, who played in all 13 games during his freshman season, was considered a reliable rotational player for head coach Josh Heupel.
As the team prepares for the upcoming season, Tennessee has received various preseason accolades. The Volunteers were ranked No. 20 in the On3 preseason top 25 poll and No. 18 in the USA Today Coaches Poll. The team faces questions at the quarterback position with a competition between true freshman Faizon Brandon and redshirt freshman George MacIntyre, while also managing a defensive overhaul under new coordinator Jim Knowles.
