Kyle William Spitze sentenced to 77 years for 764 extremist network crimes

Kyle William Spitze, a 27-year-old from Tennessee, has been sentenced to 77 years in prison for his role as an original member of the extremist network 764 and its offshoot, Harm Nation. A federal judge in the Eastern District of Tennessee ordered the sentence to be served consecutively, marking the longest prison term ever imposed on a nihilistic violent extremist.

Spitze pleaded guilty to producing child sexual abuse material (CSAM), possessing CSAM, and distributing animal crush videos. Prosecutors stated that Spitze used threats of doxing and swatting to coerce dozens of girls into producing explicit content, self-mutilating, or performing acts of animal cruelty. One report indicates Spitze claimed to have manipulated over 2,600 victims globally, and two victims reportedly committed suicide as a result of his actions.

The FBI and Department of Justice have identified the 764 network as a national security threat. The group operates via social media and gaming platforms to exploit vulnerable minors for the purpose of fostering social unrest and destroying civilized society through a nihilistic ideology.
