Tennessee radio host films reported UFO sighting in Haywood County

Mickey Utley, a Tennessee radio host and host of the paranormal program ‘The Suppressed Signal’, filmed what he described as an “amazing” UFO sighting from his home in Haywood County. Utley reported seeing bright lights low on the horizon that appeared to be “fading in and out” against a dark, quiet sky.

Utley, who is also an amateur drone pilot, stated he believes drones can be ruled out as an explanation for the phenomenon. He noted that after witnessing the lights, he brought his wife outside to confirm the sighting, but the objects had disappeared by the time they returned to the porch.

According to the National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC), this event marks the sixth UFO reported in the Brownsville area since 2000 and the first since 2023. While local broadcasters noted the footage could potentially depict a plane vanishing and reappearing, no official aviation assessment or technical analysis has been released to identify the objects.
