Tennessee State defeats Morgan State 25-16 in homecoming victory

Tennessee State defeated Morgan State 25-16 on Saturday during their homecoming game. Daylin Lee led the Tigers with 220 passing yards and 63 rushing yards, including two touchdown passes. The Tigers also utilized a trick play where wide receiver Jaden Jones threw a 50-yard touchdown pass to Cam Bulluck.

Despite allowing 301 yards to the No. 24 ranked Morgan State, Tennessee State secured the win by limiting the Bears to 2 of 11 on third-down attempts and 1 of 3 on fourth-down attempts. Morgan State's Cameron Edge threw for 162 yards and two interceptions. The loss snapped Morgan State's five-game winning streak.

Key performances for Tennessee State included Cam Bulluck with 106 receiving yards and Keith Jenkins Jr., who rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown. Tennessee State's final scoring came from an 11-yard touchdown pass from Lee to Francisco Pratts III and a 27-yard field goal by Preston Hurless.
