Tennessee Tech launches $125 million campus development campaign
Tennessee Tech University has launched the public phase of ‘It’s Personal: The Campaign to Elevate Tennessee Tech’, a $125 million fundraising initiative. As of the campaign's unveiling on August 28, donors have already committed more than $94 million toward the goal. The campaign focuses on five pillars: student experience, faculty support, scholarships, athletics, and university excellence.
Planned investments include $25 million for student experiences, $25 million for athletics, $15 million for faculty support, $35 million for scholarships and emergency grants, and $25 million for university excellence. Athletic improvements will include a new football operations building, a tennis complex with 12 courts expected to open in May 2028, and a track and field facility scheduled for completion in June 2027.
To accommodate a long-term enrollment goal of 15,000 students—an increase of approximately 4,000 over current levels—the university is also developing a Student Spirit Center near the football stadium. This facility will include dedicated stadium seating to support student organizations during events.
