Tennessee Titans revamp receiver corps to boost Cam Ward’s second‑year surge

The Tennessee Titans have overhauled their wide‑receiver group ahead of Cam Ward’s sophomore season. Free‑agency acquisitions include veteran Calvin Ridley, who accepted a pay cut to stay, and former Giants receiver Wan 'Dale Robinson, who posted over 1,000 yards last year. The team also drafted Ohio State standout Carnell Tate with the No. 4 overall pick, adding a top‑five talent expected to develop into a WR1.

Ward entered the league with a rookie campaign of more than 3,000 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and seven interceptions while working with largely unproven targets. The improved receiving lineup—Tate, Robinson, Ridley, plus second‑year players Chimere Dike, Elic Ayomanor and tight end Gunnar Helm—provides a stronger supporting cast as the Titans aim for a better offensive performance in 2026.
