Tennessee Titans struggle with winless 0-5 start to 2026 season

The Tennessee Titans have begun the 2026 NFL season with a winless 0-5 record, marking one of the worst starts in franchise history. The team is currently averaging approximately 11.5 points per game, the lowest in the league.

Wide receiver Carnell Tate described the losing streak as “rough,” noting that he has never experienced such a period of losing. He emphasized a focus on individual accountability to help turn the season around. The Titans' offense has struggled significantly, notably being the only team in the league without a completed pass of 30 or more yards.

Following a 26-3 loss to the Houston Texans, discussions have emerged regarding potential changes to the offensive strategy. Suggestions include moving away from a balanced approach that relies on an ineffective run game in favor of a more aggressive passing attack to support quarterback Cam Ward.
