Tennessee Titans to stick with QB Cam Ward despite 0-5 start

The Tennessee Titans have fallen to a 0-5 start to the season following a 26-3 home loss to the Houston Texans. The team currently holds an NFL-low 58 total points, having failed to score a touchdown in their most recent outing.

Despite the winless record and offensive struggles, head coach Robert Saleh reaffirmed his commitment to starting quarterback Cam Ward. Saleh stated, “Cam’s our starting quarterback. We’re going to give him every opportunity to be successful this year.”

Ward, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, completed 23 of 36 passes for 170 yards with one interception during the game against Houston. His season statistics include 896 passing yards, three touchdowns, and three interceptions through five games.

Responding to media inquiries regarding the team's losing streak, Ward stated, “I am not a loser. The record may say that we are that right now. But at the end of the day you have to go through some stuff to get wins.” The Titans are scheduled to play the Indianapolis Colts next Sunday.
