Tennessee Volunteers prepare for season opener against Furman

The Tennessee Volunteers are set to open their 2026 college football season at Neyland Stadium against the Furman Paladins. The matchup features several key storylines, including the highly anticipated debut of five-star true freshman quarterback Faizon Brandon, who earned the starting role during the offseason.

Defensively, the Volunteers will debut a new unit under coordinator Jim Knowles. On the offensive side, attention is on freshman wide receiver TK Keys and defensive lineman Kedric Golston II as they look to make an immediate impact.
