Tennis developments in Sabran and Bagnères-de-Bigorre

The Tennis Club de Sabran recently concluded a week-long tennis training camp held from August 24 to August 28, 2026. Under the guidance of instructor Nicolas Lovéra, 30 youths aged 5 to 14 participated in sessions focused on discovery, initiation, and skill improvement. The event concluded with an awards ceremony led by club president Thierry Perrin, supported by the Gard departmental council and Groupama.

In Bagnères-de-Bigorre, the international tennis tournament formerly known as the Internationaux de tennis de Bagnères has been rebranded as the Open BNP Paribas de Bagnères-de-Bigorre. Scheduled to run from August 30 to September 6, the 42nd edition features a new leadership team headed by Jean-Louis and Théo Dessac. The new management aims to ensure the tournament's financial stability and longevity, receiving continued support from Mayor Nicole Darrieutort and the local municipality.
